Pakistan

It is also known as the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) that is also referred to as Intermediate is a popular exam that is taken by students of the Higher Secondary schools or the Intermediate College (Junior college) in Pakistan. After they have passed Matriculation Grades 9 and 10 they then go in an intermediate college and complete their grade 11 and 12. After they have completed both grade, they again must pass the standardized tests in the subject areas they study. These tests are administered in schools of the provincial level on a provincial scale, and by the FBISE on a federal scale. After passing the tests students receive an Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC). This phase of learning is also referred to as FSc/FA/ICS. There are many streams students can select for their 11th or 12th grade , which includes pre-medical engineering , humanities (or social sciences) and commerce and computer science. Each stream offers three electives, as well as three subjects that are compulsory, such as English, Urdu, Islamiyat (grade 11 only) and Pakistan Studies (grade 12 only).

Nepal

National Examination Board (Nepal) is the organization responsible for the administration of all tests for senior schools, which includes the 11th-12th grades Higher Secondary examinations (10+2), 11th and 12th grade SEE Exam, as well as the 8th grade District Level Exam. After passing the Higher Secondary Exams students will be eligible to go to the university.
